Every passenger is allowed free transportation of baggage of the certain weight. Weight norms of free transportation of baggage are established according the type of the aircraft. 30 kilogram (66 pounds) – on the aircrafts with the first-class section and only for the passenger of the first class; 20 kilogram (44 pounds) – on the aircrafts Yak-24, Yak-40 and An-24; 10 kilogram (22 pounds) – on the aircraft L-410. Weight of baggage area should not exceed 30 kilogram and its dimensions should not be more than 50x50x100 cm (20x20x40 inches). In addition to free baggage weight passenger can carry on board hand baggage that may be necessary in the flight such as briefcase, plastic bag, purse or paper-case, printing production for reading in the flight, coat or raincoat, umbrella or walking-stick, bouquet of flowers, baby carriage, folding wheelchair and/or crutches. Items that are prohibited for transportation: - weapons and ammunition of any kind; - flying machines and its compounds; - tools and machines for manufacturing weapons, ammunition of any kind, flying machines and its compounds; - narcotic substances; - radioactive materials and items; - drastic, poison and explosive substances and other items that can threaten health and life of people and animals and can lead to destruction of the environment; - items (goods) that are legally prohibited for importing to Ukraine in accordance with Ukrainian law. Domestic animal transportation regulations Domestic animal owners are allowed to transport their pets with the presence of veterinary certificate of due form with the note of Veterinary Service of the airport about clinical health of the animal and rabies vaccination. Items (goods) that are subject to veterinary, ecological, sanitary and phytosanitary control are passed through only after passing control at respective services.
