Airport Kyiv is developing rapidly.

The New international terminal is already built. At the moment the setting-up of informational and technological systems is being conducted. Check-in, passport check desks are being mounted, aircraft safety systems are being installed, equipment for stores, restaurants and cafeterias is being installed.

The New terminal has a modern informational system by SITA that includes registration system, visualization system and airport processes control system.

Baggage processing systems for arriving and departing passengers have already been installed and commissioned. All works have been carried out in a highly qualified manner within the established deadlines by “Motion” company’s specialists. 

Aircraft safety systems include 8 new modern introscopes by Rapiscan with different dimension-types.

Infrastructure of the terminal complex provides all necessary arrangements for comfortable and safe location of passengers, accompanying visitors as well as airport staff.

Airport land side has independent traffic routes: routes for civil transport, taxi and private cars. Total number of parking places at land side is 250. There are parking places for large busses and for servicing of target groups of passengers. The routes for passengers are planned in a clear and transparent manner. 

Terminal square is 14000 square meters.

Terminal has 14 check-in desks, 3 aircraft safety checkpoints for departing passengers.

Customs service will work under “green” and “red” corridors system. Passport control procedures stipulate maximal simplification of formalities by means of modern informational systems (totally, there will be 20 workplaces for Border service specialists: 10 for arrival and 10 for departure).

For comfortable expectation of flight departure or arrival in the terminal, different areas have cafeterias and restaurants, different stores, parenting rooms (on the ground and first floor), smoking premises (two premises on the first floor for departing passengers and two on the ground floor in arrival lounge, one of which is located before passport check and the other one – after passport check in baggage arrival zone).

At the time, chairs for passengers are being mounted (total amount is 700 chairs, 600 of which are in waiting-room on the first floor). On the first floor, we have located a business hall with 180 square meters space. From the windows of this hall there opens a beautiful view at the flying field and runway. 8 bars and restaurants and 5 Duty Free stores will work in the terminal 24 hour per day.

5 departure gates will be used for handling of passengers. The mentioned infrastructure will provide qualitative and comfortable rendering of services for 520 passengers per hour.

Terminal building has a great number of windows and open space. This makes your feel yourself comfortable and calm.

We took care and ensured maximum convenience and comfort for disabled people, i.e. we have created infrastructure that allows to move freely in the terminal and to pass all the necessary procedures for arrival and departure of such passengers.

Openness, light, cosiness and comfort are the main impressions, which you will feel while being in the new international terminal of Airport Kyiv.
